Abstract

The hostilities on the territory of Ukraine during 2022-2026 caused complex medical and environmental consequences that have both immediate and longterm impacts on human health and the state of the environment. Medical and ecological consequences of the war for the population of Ukraine are in the nature of a humanitarian crisis with a critical burden on the healthcare system. Itis characterized as a state of prolonged vulnerability, deepened by the intensification of attacks on civilian and energy infrastructure. Humanitarian situation remains critical with a high need for international assistance and rapid response to constant changes in the war zones.
