У статті розглядається розвиток цілісного підходу в сучасній психосоматиці з акцентом на ролі психологічних чинників у підтримці здоров'я. Обговорюється «новий феноменологічний конструкт» здоров'я та його взаємозв'язок з адаптивною поведінкою та інвалідністю. Дослідження фокусується на пропедевтичних аспектах психосоматичної медицини та важливості професійної психологічної підтримки людей з інвалідністю для покращення їхньої якості життя.
